Took part in the Ludum Dare 48, themed Deeper and Deeper. We had team of three programmers, one sound guy and me as designer/artist. Reused designs from Surinapiri, but remade all the assets so we don't have to opt out graphics category.
Story Shit
only to explain theme
It’s been a week now since you fell into that river. You we’re not strong enough to battle against forces of nature, and you sank. You sank deeper and deeper, and you thought this was your end. Maybe it was, because the place you found below the river bed sure ain’t nothing like you ever saw before. You never lost your vision of the sky, yet all the stairs in this world are only going down, deeper and deeper.
Marketing Shit

Surinapiri - Suruvuori is a primitive first person shooter. You don’t need a mouse here, hell, we don’t even have vertical gameplay let alone vertical aiming. Enjoy the simplification after all those feature ridden, bloated modern shooters.
Remember, movement is your most important skill here. You can dance around enemies and let them kill each other. But don't let that let you lead on, guns are a very much preferred way of killing here. That is why we made them pack some real punch, you can kill three of most regularly seen enemies with one point blank shotgun shot. Isn’t that cool after all those peashooter games?
